AMEC Upstream Oil & Gas Engineering
Mentor as a key component in the deployment and delivery of a work performance systems for AMEC. Mentor provides visibility into key working processes between geographically dispersed construction and design teams during the design and construction phases. Using Mentor, AMEC ensures that safety health and environmental guidelines are consistently followed when issues arise in the field. Additionally, the system’s workflow capabilities provide the necessary connectivity for ongoing management visibility and clearly defined audit trails for procedural accountability and regulatory reporting requirements. This helps engineers and field workers complete dangerous tasks more efficiently and safely, while remaining within regulatory guidelines. AMEC also used other Mentor applications for contract variation, decision support, and project change requests.
EOD Military
The Mentor application is an essential part of EOD’s critical process of detonating explosive devices. These forces must understand the situations they are encountering and how to defeat them in order to reduce the risk of life. The JEOD war fighters use the Mentor system to report on details of incident responses. Mentor supports the evaluation and the efficient responses. Mentor helps staff identify trends and analysis data for ensuring war fighter safety.
EATON/Cutler Hammer Power System Engineering
Uses Mobile Mentor for disconnected data collection with flexibility and supports availability and mobile computing to promote efficiency and ease. EATON uses Mentor for data collections for power systems studies and evaluations by field personnel. Eaton’s work environment is completely disconnected.
F/18 Military
The NavAir uses Mentor as a process management system. Technicians use an automated maintenance environment concept to increase readiness, reduce cycle time through better diagnostics, and improve quality of collected maintenance data. Mentor captures trouble reports and achieves resolution through approved processes, and supports the standard Naval Aviation Maintenance Discrepancy Program.
EADS Aerospace & Defense
Mentor captures data and allows the technician/worker to enter relevant information about the task at hand. EADS puts emphasis on capturing and analysis on important information. EADS uses Mentor for their projects on authoring, delivery and workflow functionality of aircraft maintenance procedures for the Eurofighter and Tornado aircrafts.
