consists of seasoned executives with significant experience managing
large-scale organizations and public companies, program managing
mission critical information systems for commercial and military
markets, software engineering, process re-engineering, product development,
and sales and marketing.
Gary L. Schaffer
President and CEO Mr. Schaffer joined Inmedius in 2002 as President and Chief Executive Officer. He has over 16 years of increasing responsibilities in executive management, product management and strategic relationships within the software industry for both privately-held and public companies. While at Inmedius, Mr. Schaffer has spearheaded the rapid growth at Inmedius through new products, geographic expansion and acquisitions.
Mr. Schaffer most recently served as Vice President, Product Management with MapInfo, an international software company based in Troy, New York with over $100 million in FY02 sales. While at MapInfo, Mr. Schaffer also served as General Manager, Information Business, EMEA, based in Windsor UK., in which he had both product and P/L responsibilities. During his tenure, MapInfo EMEA harnessed significant top-line and profitability growth
Mr. Schaffer founded On Target Mapping in 1991 and was responsible for the daily management and creation of a product portfolio of over 50 products which are used by many Fortune 500 companies including, ATT, Sprint, Qwest, AOL/Time Warner. On Target Mapping was acquired by MapInfo in 1998.

Richard Martin
Chairman and CTO
Mr. Martin cofounded Inmedius in 1995. Prior to Inmedius, he was
a founding director of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI)
at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), and served as director of
the technology exploration program, technology transition program,
and the program development program. He currently holds the rank
of adjunct professor at the School of Computer Science as the
founding Executive Director of the International Software Research
Institute and a faculty member of the Robotics Institute and the
Human Computer Interaction Institute (HCII), all at CMU. Before
joining CMU, Mr. Martin was Deputy Director of the artificial
intelligence program at the Microelectronics and Computer Consortium
during its formation.
Previously, he served in key operational and technical
positions in the Navy. As an operational commander, Mr. Martin
commanded the first F-14 Tomcat squadron during fleet introduction.
He was the Executive Officer of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier
Nimitz during its first two deployments to the Mediterranean and
was the first Commanding Officer of the nuclear-powered aircraft
carrier Carl Vinson during construction, sea trials, and its first
deployment to the Mediterranean Sea and Indian Ocean. He is a
decorated fighter pilot with more than 660 carrier landings and
100 combat missions. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical
and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE), Association for Computing
Machinery (ACM), and American Association for Artificial Intelligence.
Mr. Martin received a B.S. from the U.S. Naval
Academy where he stood first in the class in electrical engineering,
and an M.S. and Ph.D., except for dissertation, in mathematics
from the University of California at San Diego. |

Robert Veltre
Vice President, Advanced Systems
Mr. Veltre cofounded Inmedius in 1995. Prior to Inmedius, Mr.
Veltre was a project scientist in the School of Computer Science
at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) pursuing his interests in
system and software architectures and development of software-intensive
systems using user-centered, evolutionary development methods.
He served at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at CMU,
leading the development and pilot implementation of a set of software
structural models for solving recurring application design problems.
At the Link Flight Simulation Division of the Singer Company,
he was the section lead software engineer responsible for managing
all ongoing F-16 simulator projects.
Mr. Veltre received a B.S. from Pennsylvania State
University in Computer Science with a minor in Economics, an M.S.
in Software Engineering from CMU, and completed the Entrepreneurial
Management Program at CMU's Graduate School of Industrial Administration. |

Ken Stillwell
Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Stillwell joined Inmedius in April of 2007 as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Stillwell has over fifteen years of experience, most of it in the Aerospace and Defense industry, with a background in operations, finance, strategic planning, and in evaluating acquisitions, alliances and customer opportunities.
Mr. Stillwell most recently served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Cardiac Telecom Corporation, a cardiac monitoring company. Prior to that, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Milestone Group, a government contractor to civilian and defense agencies. There, he oversaw and managed all operations for Milestone Group, which was acquired by Anteon Corporation. As a Divisional Vice-President at Anteon (now General Dynamics), he assisted senior management with the organization’s integration.
Before joining Milestone/Anteon, Mr. Stillwell held positions with increasing levels of responsibility at DeCrane Aircraft, Inc, a market leader in the systems integration segment of the Aerospace market. While at DeCrane, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Division President. During his tenure, the organization grew from $200 million to over $500 million in sales.
Mr. Stillwell has a Masters of Science in Accounting/Finance from the University of South Carolina, a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, and is a Certified Public Accountant. |

Michael Ingledew
Managing Director, Inmedius United Kingdom
Mr. Ingledew joined Inmedius in 2004 as Managing Director at Inmedius
UK. Mr. Ingledew has many years of experience in leadership and
management.
Mr. Ingledew began his career in the British Army
as an Aircraft Engineer working on rotor and fixed wing aircraft.
After 12 years exemplary military service Mr Ingledew went on
to train as a technical author and professional project manager.
At BAE Systems, Mr. Ingledew was a technical author
on the Eurofighter Typhoon project, responsible for the production
of technical information and user notes for the aircraft. Following
BAE Systems Mr. Ingledew joined Midwest Technologies Limited,
his responsibilities included project manager on the first ever
delivery of a commercial aircraft with an interactive technical
publication, the Raytheon Premier 1. There he was responsible
for a large team of data technicians, writers and external supporting
contractors.
More recently, Mr. Ingledew was Operations Manager
for an SME in London, UK, responsible for the operational duties
of the company, including the development team, project managers,
customer support team and the production team. |

André Beaulieu
Managing Director, Inmedius Canada
Mr. Beaulieu joined Inmedius in 2006 as Managing Director of Inmedius Canada. Mr. Beaulieu has over 24 years of leadership and management experience.
Mr. Beaulieu began his career in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Armour Crewman and Air Crewman on the Bell 206 Helicopter. During his 24 years of service, Mr. Beaulieu specialized in training and formation. He also served as a Forward Air Controller (FAC), working with all types of Fighters throughout the United States and Europe. After retiring from the Canadian Forces, Mr. Beaulieu joined DEW Engineering as an SGML Technical Writer on a major Defense Project. After making significant contributions as an Editor, Publisher and Supervisor, Mr. Beaulieu became Publications Manager for all projects. As a secondary task he was Project Manager on many publication initiatives.
Mr. Beaulieu created his own company, Tech Pub Expert, which specialized in the implementation and creation of technical documentation in XML ASD S1000D™. Tech Pub Expert implemented Inmedius’ technology at Bell Helicopter Mirabel Canada. Before Inmedius’ acquisition of Tech Pub Expert, Mr. Beaulieu partnered with Inmedius to test and train customers on the Inmedius Publishing Suite. |

David Lowe
Managing Director, Inmedius Australia PTY LTD
Mr. Lowe has over eighteen years of experience, primarily focused in Australian Defense telecommunications and aviation, with a strong background in avionics and rotary wing aircraft. He is a member of the S1000D™ Electronic Publications Working Group (EPWG), and has in-depth knowledge of numerous technical publishing standards, including; S1000D, ADFP 102, DEF(AUS) 5629B, and DEOP 110. In addition to his diverse background in publishing technologies, Mr. Lowe’s experience with the LSA requirement 1388-2B provides a unique product perspective.
Prior to joining Inmedius in 2008 as Managing Director of Inmedius Australia, Mr. Lowe led an information management and solutions team at Novare Services (since acquired by QinetiQ plc.). While at Novare, a professional engineering and logistics organization, he oversaw the development of technical publications solutions and consulted on elements of defense technical publications policy.
Before joining Novare Services, Mr. Lowe was part of the Tiger Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH) Technical Documentation Team at Australian Aerospace, a subsidiary of Eurocopter and the only helicopter producer in Australia and New Zealand. He also previously served 13 years in the Army’s Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Corp, predominantly on Australian aviation asset maintenance and management computer systems.
Mr. Lowe is currently studying Information Technology through Central Queensland University. |
